Jury deliberations in a New York City murder trial are complicated by a single member whose cautious skepticism forces them to carefully consider all evidence before delivering their verdict…
As the third annual Viking Theatre Company Fall play, 12 Angry Jurors connects with the social studies curriculum to highlight the roles, responsibilities, and overall ethics of jurors in the American judicial system. Adapted from the classic motion picture 12 Angry Men, this legal drama challenges audiences - and particularly students - with the moral and ethical questions facing the characters, and reflects the kinds of duties students may perform when serving jury duty as citizens in our community.
12 Angry Jurors evening performances are Wednesday, November 13; Thursday, November 14; and Saturday, November 16 at 7 PM in the District 7 Fine Arts Center at Spartanburg High School with a matinee performance on Sunday, November 17 at 2 PM. Tickets are general admission and sold at the door: $5 adults/$1 students.
