The following 48 District 7 Orchestra students recently auditioned for the 2024 SC Region One Honors Orchestras. Competing with students throughout all of Spartanburg, Laurens, and York counties (Region One) for a limited number of chairs, they succeeded in earning a spot in the honors orchestra weekend that takes place on Nov. 22-23, 2024 at Chesnee High School. This is the largest number of D7 orchestra students to successfully audition for this prestigious event in two decades! Congratulations to these students and to all of the teachers in our orchestra department who nurtured their talents beginning in our elementary schools.
