District 7 Is Piloting New eLearning Program
December 2018 Snowstorm Provided the Perfect Opportunity to Test eLearning
District 7's first eLearning day was, by all accounts, a big success. With an epic snow storm closing schools on December 10 and 11, District 7 launched its forray into the field of eLearning. As one of 5 districts in the state participating in a pilot program to assess the potential for eLearning - D7 Principals say their teachers and students were well prepared for the effort with lessons already downloaded on student computers and activity folders sent home for younger learners. As for conerns about lack of play with children being asked to plug-in to complete school assignments - the pictures below suggest there was no shortage of fun!
